Linn borrows the language of a trench coat and shortens it into a dress: a notched collar, a placket of metal buttons down the front, and a belt in the same fabric that lets you set the waist where you want it.

Below the waist it opens into crisp box pleats that hold their shape while walking, ending above the knee. Sleeveless, so it layers under a blazer or a knit when the office runs cold.
